YOUR PRIVACY
A little clarity.
The calendar displays available lesson start times checked against Ellie’s main Google Calendar through Supabase. Your browser requests these public start times from Supabase, which receives standard network request information. Personal calendar event details and calendar credentials are not sent to your browser. Selecting a time does not reserve a lesson. When real booking is enabled, you must verify your email and explicitly confirm the lesson. Supabase stores your account, name, email, lesson details, timezone and optional learning goals. Ellie and the service administrator can access these records to provide and support lessons. Your name, email, lesson details and learning goals are sent to Google Calendar to arrange the lesson and request a calendar invitation. A unique Google Meet link is created for the booking. Only your verified account can retrieve your booking records through the website. Older sample reservations may remain in this browser’s local storage, including names, email addresses and learning goals entered in the previous preview. Those sample details were not sent to Ellie, a payment provider or an email service.
Anyone using the same browser profile can view these sample bookings. Please avoid entering sensitive information. You can cancel individual lessons under My lessons, or clear this website’s browser storage to remove local data.
Tutor booking notifications
When tutor confirmation emails are enabled, Resend processes your name, email address, lesson type, booked date and time, booking reference and Google Meet link to notify Ellie at songhee5434@gmail.com. Learning-goal free text and payment details are not included in these notification emails. Private delivery records are stored in Supabase for retries and administration. Google Calendar invitations and tutor notification emails are separate messages; provider acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery.
Private messages and student accounts
Supabase processes your sign-in email, account identity and private messages. Your conversation is accessible to your signed-in account and Ellie’s verified tutor account. The service administrator can access stored data to operate and support the service. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Sign-in sessions are saved in this browser, so sign out on shared devices. Google receives sign-in information if you choose Google sign-in when available.
Messages are retained until deleted by the service administrator or your account is deleted. Contact songhee5434@gmail.com for account or message deletion requests. Private messaging does not create a confirmed lesson booking or connect your personal calendar.
Google Fonts receives standard browser request information when fonts load. Culture imagery was generated for this website and is hosted with the site. Songhee’s professional portrait was supplied by the site owner; other profile details and photographs came from the supplied tutor profile screenshot.
To suggest a local currency, your browser requests your approximate country from api.country.is using your IP address. No precise location permission is requested. If this lookup fails, we use your browser’s region settings. Exchange rates are fetched from api.frankfurter.dev. Both services receive standard network request information; no booking details are sent to them. Your chosen currency is saved in this browser, and you can return to automatic selection at any time.
No card details are collected and no payment is processed. Booking a lesson does not mark it as paid. Verification emails are handled by Supabase and its configured email provider. Google handles calendar invitations and meeting services; inbox delivery depends on provider settings. Booking records are kept for lesson administration; contact songhee5434@gmail.com for access or deletion requests. Sign-in sessions are stored in this browser, so sign out on shared devices. Canceling or changing a real lesson currently requires contacting Ellie. A final privacy policy will be required before public launch.
